- Benchmark and incorporate best educational practices from public and private K-12 institutions to recruit and retain top teachers
- Create a more inclusive environment for teachers and staff
- Develop board advisory committees of expert community members and staff to address curriculum, student performance, high school performance, finance & audit and strategic planning
- Respect and promote parents as partners with educators to increase student success
- Implement a staff development plan to promote future principals and assistant principals from within the District
- Create a better learning environment for students and teachers around clear definitions of acceptable student behavior
- Support a learning environment of respect for all students including tolerance and anti-bullying education that is age-appropriate
- Starting in 6th grade and through high school graduation, assign students a faculty adviser to ensure an intimate, personalized learning environment geared to the individual needs of each student
