Education and Qualifications:

As Executive Director of the Pro-Youth Coalition, I worked to help make our community a safer place for all to live and a place where our children and our grandchildren can prosper and flourish.

As a Councilmember, I have worked to make local government more responsive and accessible to working class and low-income residents. I have worked to provide a voice for those residents who work tirelessly to make Santa Barbara the unique community we all love, while these same workers cannot afford to live here themselves.

As residents of Santa Barbara, we all share an integral part in its future. I ask your support now to help me ensure that Santa Barbara's most valuable resource, its people, all have a part and place in its vision for the future. I ask your support to help me ensure that our environment is protected for generations to come. And I ask your support in helping to increase the participation of all of Santa Barbara's residents in government and the issues that will shape our community's future.
