Politics & Public Health Should Not MixBy Charlie HallCandidate for Board Member; Granada Sanitary District | |
This information is provided by the candidate |
You're invited to join me at the polls on Tuesday November 4, 2003 in voting for the candidate of your choice for the many available positions in our gorgeous coastside communities. Exercise your right to vote and demonstrate your power to the Local Coastal Politicians' political machine.
I am an unaffiliated candidate for a seat on the Board of Directors of the Granada District and am asking you to vote for me for the following reasons.
I am experienced in the affairs of the Granada Sanitary District having been a Director of the District from 1992 to 1995, and from 1996 to 1997.
I am an honorably discharged U. S. Army veteran.
I have over 30 years experience in the banking/financial industry as a professional management consultant.
I believe that politics and public health issues should not mix, otherwise the residents of the community will suffer. The continuation of the five year capital improvement program to keep our unique and lovely coastside communities environmentally healthy and safe is one of my top priorities.
And, most important in these fiscally insecure times, I will work to keep your tax rates as low as possible by insisting that the district confine it's expenditures to those items for which it was chartered, and not waste district funds by exploring unrelated activities that some of the board members are encouraging. . I would insist upon a sound balance sheet
I will listen to your concerns and input, and will welcome calls at my home or the district office. |
