Job Creation

Improvements in transportation, redevelopment of downtown, and the creation of a business friendly environment will lead to new jobs.

We must give businesses a reason to locate here. But we must not only attract new business, we must prepare for them. That means an emphasis on public safety, schools, and parks. Modesto has much to offer, but we can offer more.

I support the development of new business parks in Modesto. They are essential to the creation of new jobs in our community. Cooperation with the County and other cities, however, will be essential.
