Affordable Homes for our Families

I want Contra Costa County to be a community where if you work hard you can afford to buy a home.
Whether you are a police officer, refinery worker, or small business owner you should be able to raise your family in the same community you work in.

Through my Community Development experience, I spend my days working with communities to make homeownership a reality for hundreds of families. We can do the same in Contra Costa County.

If elected I will work with our cities to encourage new "smart growth" housing near our transit stations and existing infrastructure. This will help reduce traffic impacts on our local streets and highways.

Further, I will work to establish a public-private trust fund that will build housing affordable to middle-class Contra Costa County residents.
