Paul A. Dictos was born in an Assemblies of God minister's home. At the time, his father, the late Rev. Eddie A. Dictos, was pioneering churches in the Northern part of Greece. For the past 34 years, Paul and his wife Stella have called Fresno their home. The Dictos family first moved to Fresno in 1910. Rev. Eddie A. Dictos began his career as a farmer on a ranch overlooking the San Joaquin reiver. Now the old family homestead is called San Joaquin Country Club.

Graduated from California State University Fresno with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.

Worked for the city of Fresno Finance Departement as an Accountant Auditor from 1971 through 1975

Worked for Michael Cardenas Accountancy Corporation.

Passed the CPA exam in 1972 [one sitting] and was certified by the state of California in 1974.

In 1976 he started his public accounting practice and has been practicing public accounting ever since.

The Paul A. Dictos Accountancy Corporation was established in Fresno California and was incorprorated on July 1, 1977.

It currently employs five full-time staff members, including Paul A. Dictos. Mr. Dictos has had extensive experience in governmnetal auditing, ranging from special districts to municipal audits and other governmental programs. Mr. Dictos's experience includes, but is not limited to, supervisory monitoring and review of governmental audits of the Model Cities Program of the City of Fresno, preparation of the City of Fresno's city-wide cost allocation plan, municipal cost certifications, municipal audits and audits of grants/contracts from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD),Health and Human Services (HHS), Department of Labor (DOL), Department of Agriculture (USDA) and others. He also has had special assignments as expert witness in litigations involving cost accounting issues, special audit assignments involving fraud and resolutions of fraud investigations in non-profit and for profit environements. his office is located at 1535 E.
