Council Member; City of Berkeley; Council District 3

I have lived in South Berkeley for nineteen years. I am married and I have a daughter who graduated from Berkeley High School. I am the co-founder of the Alcatraz Avenue Neighborhood Association, formed in 1988 after a roving gang threw bricks and rocks at my home, smashing almost every window. I am a registered nurse in the intensive care units of Alta Bates and Summit Hospitals. I currently serve on the Board of Directors of the California Consumer Health Care Council. I have served on a multitude of commissions and boards while residing in South Berkeley.
