TrafficBy Kay AyalaCandidate for Mayor; City of Pleasanton | |
This information is provided by the candidate |
We must revise our General Plan traffic standards.General Plan traffic standards are set at levels that are not acceptable to our citizens. I will work full time as your Mayor to make sure projects are not approved until higher standards are met. Since our school population continues to increase, we must improve traffic circulation around schools. This requires a team effort from everyone. Pleasanton buses more children on Wheels buses than surrounding cities. In my position on the Board of Livermore Amador Vallley Transit Authority (LAVTA), I will seek additional busing. The City and School District are currently working on a funding agreement to add a neighborhood school (Neal ) in the south part of Pleasanton. |
