Global Warming Dangers

Gasoline exhaust threatens our Grandchildren's generation.

We will monitor freeway exits for samples. Flagrant violators will be ticketed.

We will educate about the Greenhouse Effect.

Certainly we are intelligent people. There are more PhD's living in Livermore than anywhere with one possible exception for NASA and U of Alabama in Huntsville.

There's diversity from all over the world where we live. A true melting pot and a shining example for the best our planet can offer.

And that's why you can read a book, or check the web, and sadly - - find that Global Warming is all too true.

And it's important enough to complain about, and outweighs any dollars and cents, because if we keep abusing our environment, we threaten our grandchildren's generation with unimaginable catastrophes, the likes this world has never seen.

At the current rate of fossil fuel gasoline exhaust abuse; there won't be one single glacier in Glacier National Park in 30 years.

We will put air quality measuring devices in areas where there's much traffic and exhaust. We will enforce laws, fight for new and improved ones, and always speak up against traffic.

We will call on Sacramento and remind them, that in California make up of mountains and valleys, with wild land that can burn, and hills that trap exhaust, it is critical that clean vehicle quotas be met.

Global Warming will not just go away like the switch on a light. But if we spread the word, educate people, and work with all levels of government, we can start getting on the plus side for protecting our grandchildren's generation. (Or nephews, nieces, cousins, friends.)

I would not have put in a project as big as the Ikea scope for what it will add to Global Warming. And the word means just that - -- Global and world wide.

And so it is true, the world trickles down to the Hacienda exit on I-580. I've heard if we stop burning gas completely today, it will take 100 years for Carbon Dioxide Levels to reach historically healthy levels. That's a tall order, but Confucius say, " the longest journey starts with a single step."
