I have practiced Inaternal Medicine and Cardiology here since 1990. I have previously served as Chief of Cardiology and currently serve as Board representative and Chair of the Quality Steering Council which is responsibile for ensuring the quality of all care at Washington Hospital.

In addition to my work at Washington Hospital and the duties entrusted to me by the voters of the District as a member of the Washington Hospital Board of Directors, I maintain medical offices on Mowery Avenue in Fremont.

I am married to Lucia Yumena, M.D. who also practices at Washington Hospital, specializing in Internal Medicine and Kidney Diseases.
