Director; San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District

The Fire District has developed Core Values of Honor, Respect, and Excellence with a comprehensive Strategic Plan. It is a worthy goal for each Director on the Board to reflect these values and expect each person associated with the District to believe in and implement the Strategic Plan. San Ramon Valley is growing daily and our emergency services need to grow also. A Board responsibility is to develop and support policies that will work to that end. Another aspect of how we control our future will be how aware the District is of state and federal legislative action that may benefit or hinder operations. This is one of the best forms of local government and each citizen deserves to have a responsive, knowledgeable representative on the Board. I believe that my record proves I am that type of Board member and liaison for citizens.
