I have dealt with water issues in the San Joaquin Valley and the adjacent Sierra Nevada since 1973.Background: I have dealt with water issues in the San Joaquin Valley and the adjacent Sierra Nevada since 1973, beginning with the Water Management Lab of the US Department of Agriculture - Agricultural Research Service, working on the Leaky Acres project in cooperation with both the City and County of Fresno. I have worked with municipal water problems both as a researcher (ground water recharge in Fresno) and as a consultant (water supplies, water quality, and recharge). I currently volunteer by siting on the Upper Kings Basin Advisory Panel.
I know agricultural water needs and demands first hand from our farming business.
My technical and practical knowledge of water and its use will allow me to make decisions for the long-term benefit of both the agricultural and municipal communities within Kings River Conservation District.
I would appreciate your vote on 11/2. |
