- Lifetime resident of Bakersfield with two children who attended Bakersfield City Schools
- I know and understand the concerns of the community, parents, and educators of our district
- I will be a Full-time trustee for the parents, teachers, and children of the Bakersfield City Schools

- Establish an attitude of teamwork and shared responsibility between parents, teachers administrators and the Board of Education.
- Obtain funding to build a new Middle School in the Northeast and to modernize present schools.
- Decrease class size and treat teachers as professionals in order to recruit and retain qualified teachers.
