Since comming onto the Board of Directors I have been involved with several major accomplishments to the community of Rosamond.
1.) The development of a new 10 acre park on United Street.
2.) The development of a new Sewage Treatment Plant (due to break ground soon)
3.) The development of a reclaimed water reuse program in Rosamond (The first in the Antelope Valley)
4.) The development & implementation of an Urban Water Management plan.
5.) The development & construction of our new Administration & Maintenance Facilities.
6.) The development of a Graffiti Abatement Program.
Now in the comming months and years we are faced with many challenges & opportunities in Rosamond.
1.) We have to continue to look for new sources of water & well sites to keep up with current demand & future growth.
2.) be ready and prepared to comply with new federal & state drinking water standards to be implemented in early 2006
3.) start construction and complete our new Sewage Treatment Plant.
4.) Start implementing the use of reclaimed water on ball fields & parks *this practice will conserve enough water to supply 1,500 families each year with drinking water*
5.) Finish development of our new Parks & Recreation Master Plan.
6.) And continue to fight those entities outside of Rosamond that are trying to take your water rights away from you.
I promise to continue to provide proven leadership, experience & sound judgement in planning for the present and future for your Water, Sewage, Street Lighting, Graffiti Abatement and Parks & Recreation.
