Adele Andrade-Stadler Biography Adele is committed to education, social justice, and community activism. She was raised in Monterey Park and has been a homeowner in Alhambra for the past fourteen years. She lives with her husband Joseph, their daughter Ramona, and their golden retriever Pal. Adele attended the local elementary schools in Alhambra, graduated from East Los Angeles College and attended California State at Los Angeles. While attending college she worked part-time for Los Angeles Unified School District as a Bi-lingual instructional aide in three classrooms. In addition, she studied under the Direction of Educator and Infant Specialist Magna Gerber, at Pacific Oaks College in South Pasadena. Adele was the Director of the Foothill Developmental School, a small non profit pre-school that provided special services for both disabled and non-disabled children in Monrovia, California. During the 1990's she developed and implemented a curriculum for the Union Bank Child Care Center, one of the first centers in the San Gabriel Valley that provided on site childcare to the employees. In 1999 Adele became a Field Representative for State Senator Hilda L Solis. She represented the Senator in the 24th district. Four years ago, State Senator Hilda L. Solis ran for United States Congress, Adele in January 2001, became a Field Representative and caseworker for the newly elected Congresswoman. Adele advocated for Children, Families, Immigrants, Seniors, Veterans, Employees, Students, Women and other constituents that needed federal intervention. In addition, as her District Director she helped to organize press conferences that dealt with issues like trafficking victims, health disparities, and education. Adele has been active in the Parent Teacher Association both at unit and council levels for nearly a decade. In that capacity, she has brought various issues to the forefront impacting the students of Alhambra School District. Raised money for local scholarships and led as a precinct organizer and Get the vote out captain for the Alhambra School Bond Measure A and AA and garnered more than 70% of the vote. She led and coordinated the School Traffic Safety Plan at Fremont elementary school where students are involved. She is also an advisor to the school site title one council and currently is chair of the traffic commissioner for the city of Alhambra.
