Voter Booklet Statement

By John Brueggeman

Candidate for Councilmember; City of Greenfield

This information is provided by the candidate
I have been vocal for years. Now I want to continue the COMMON SENSE currently on the Council.
STATEMENT OF CANDIDATE FOR OFFICE OF COUNCILMEMBER

CITY: GREENFIELD LONG TERM

NAME: JOHN BRUEGGEMAN AGE: 50

OCCUPATION: Locksmith / Business Owner

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:

I have a Bachelors of Science Degree in Natural Resources Planning and Interpretation, with an emphasis in Outdoor Recreation. I have been involved with youth, recreation, and civic organizations for 35 years in a multitude of paid and volunteer positions. I am an Eagle Scout and have been a State Park Ranger, for over 13 years. I own and operate my small businesses from Greenfield.

I am placing my name on the ballot for City Council because over the last several years, I have seen how the good and bad decisions of the City Council affect our community. Rather than just commenting or complaining, I am asking for Your Support and Vote to allow me to continue the work toward Common Sense and Sound Decision Making.

Recreation and Managed Growth, with an expansion of appropriate City provided services, have been and still are my several areas of concern. Previous City Councils have worked diligently to build up a financial reserve in case of emergencies or Shortfalls in State Funding. I have objected when this reserve was almost completely exhausted by paying for overpriced facilities and services. Common Sense and Community Support will make Greenfield a great community to live in.
