Candidate for
Councilmember; City of Gonzales

Having lived in Gonzales nearly all my life, I have witnessed Gonzales grow from a small farm town to a busy community. I support the need for well-planned growth with a solid infrastructure. I am conscious to the fact that as Gonzales grows, so does the need to strengthen its Public Safety Agencies (Police and Fire), improve the communication between City Government and the residents of Gonzales, as well as offer recreational services for children and the elderly. I also recognize the need for a Community Center and a new middle school.

I am bilingual and recognize the diversity within the community along with the necessity to represent all of Gonzales' residents equally. I am not supported by any special interest group(s) and I am currently undertaking a door-to-door, personalized, campaign. My goal is to reach out to the citizens of Gonzales allowing them an opportunity to meet me and ask questions about community issues and also express their concerns about Gonzales. My goal is to attempt personal contact at every registered voter residence within Gonzales.
