Candidate for
Councilmember; City of Gonzales

My political philosophy is God, Family and City. I thank God every day for the presence and encouragement of my family and for the opportunity to serve the residents of Gonzales. I have been blessed and I have an intense desire to return to this community the blessings I have been afforded.

My duties as a husband and father are the only priorities that come before the duties of my position as a representitive of the people of Gonzales. As our council is chosen at large I feel that my duties are to the complete city. I am the only candidate, of the four running, that has my name listed in the phone book. It seems imperative to me that I be available to the people of Gonzales at any time. Many of the people have chosen to call me when they are concerned about any particular area of city business and many times just to find out my position on any subject.

I go to the post office daily and find that many of our citizens use this location as a meeting point in order to discuss city business. I discovered that my presence on the street daily is very important to the constituancy.I will continue to be available at any time to recieve direction from the people that I serve.
