VITAL INFORMATION1.Terry Rosenthal is a Lifelong resident in Marin County. 2.Experience- 35 Years of Acute Care Experience in Hospital Operations. 3. Special Interests and Conflict of Interests. · Rosenthal-None 4.Running a positive campaign. · Rosenthal-Yes 5. Improve the weak and ineffectual District Board- Terry Rosenthal has the experience and ability to bridge the differences with MGH and the Marin Healthcare District (MHD) Board to work positively and constructively to improving the quality of care issues for the County of Marin. 6. Change the MHD Board meeting to conform to the Brown Act of how public meetings are held. This was the recommendation of the Marin County Grand Jury and the MHD Board did not agree. Terry Rosenthal agrees with the interpretation of the MCGJ-Brown Act and wants to change the format of the public meetings. This change in format will allow the MHD Board to finally get their business accomplished and receive public opinion. 7. Strategic Business Plan to guide the MHD Board into the future and give the residence of Marin the assurance and a clear vision for the quality of healthcare improvement in Marin. A change in the way we currently run the MHD Board and the relationship with MGH is now required or a new plan to move the hospital during the next 11 years and end the current contract with Sutter Health and find an effective Hospital Operating Partner. Terry Rosenthal has the knowledge and experience to actualize this plan. 8. The major reason to elect Terry Rosenthal to the MHD Board is he has the qualifications, experience, knowledge, and ability to make positive changes in a positive way. No more legal proceedings, No more special interests or political promises, to Improve the Quality of Marin's Healthcare needs, Bring together the Healthcare professionals (Physicians, Nurses and other workers) to help the uninsured patients, and Only the interests of the residents of Marin will be listen to when making the important decisions. 9. No political contributions accepted. Terry Rosenthal is self funding the total campaign. |
