The business community is what supports the city's public safety, infrastructure, and recreational services. We must protect our sales tax, business license tax, and permit fees which are now the main source of revenue to the city from the greedy hands of those in Sacramento. Whether it's streamlining the permit application process, or being friendlier to "special events and sales", the City needs to be more open for business. It doesn't matter if the business generates sales tax, it does create jobs that enable people to shop and spend in our city. I will work extremely hard to attract and retain business in Orange. |
