Candidate for
Mayor; City of Cathedral City

Concern over Cathedral City's future and the encouragement of friends and neighbors has led me to run for Mayor.

When you elected me I promised to be accessible and responsive, a promise I've kept. But helping people with city problems, I see strong frustrations over Cathedral City's direction.

The sky isn't falling here. Our future isn't bleak. We must stop shortchanging residents who need and reasonably expect city services.

Let's not talk about saving money by turning off traffic signals. Let's help our hard-working police officers by beefing up our Citizens' Patrol.

We need a prudent reserve, but not one so big it prevents our making Cathedral City attractive. Let's create a business facade improvement program to spruce up businesses and provide one-time code enforcement "amnesty" for all properties not in compliance.

A sensible water conservation ordinance will get the grey water off our streets. Solid strategic planning will move the dream of a community center for seniors and families into reality.

Help me put my council and business experience to work for Cathedral City as your Mayor. Let's team up for a great future so we can begin restoring "Civic Pride and Public Trust.
