- Championed the cause for use of recycled water in Lake Elsinore. EVMWD is the first Water District in the State of California to use recycled water with body contact in a public recreational lake.
- Fostered and completed a WATER WHEELING AGREEMENT with Western Municipal Water District. EVMWD has water assets in San Bernardino County that are swapped for water that is delivered to our District. The benefit to our ratepayers is the use of our out of area water assets. The cost of this water is considerably less then imported water from Metropolitan which helps keep rates down for EVMWD customers
