Thank you for your continuing interest in my candidacy for the Office of the Elected Town Clerk of Los Gatos. As an active volunteer and registered voter in Los Gatos for over 39 years I have offered our community my expertise and services with enthusiasm and gratitude to all of you who have built and maintained our unique heritage.
The following is a partial list of my personal and leadership roles while living in Los Gatos:
- Raised 6 children in Los Gatos (4 live in Town now)
- Have 13 grandchildren (6 live in Town)
- 7 grandchildren have attended Los Gatos schools
- Active volunteer in local public schools
- Hold three Life Certificates for teaching in California
- Girl Scout leader for 20 years
- Four daughters traveled with Los Gatos Ambassador Scouts. I volunteered to help these young ladies and their troops travel to Mexico, Europe, and to our country's
bi-centennial celebration in Washington D.C.
- Sunday school teacher for 35 years
- Church board member for 6 years
- Los Gatos Youth Park board member for 30 years
- Crisis Line for the Handicapped board member,18 years
- Served on the General Plan Task Force Committee 1982-84
While volunteering, raising a family and working, I was also politically active. I have helped on several campaigns over the years and am very committed to our representative form of government. During the years I have lived in Los Gatos I have registered my vote on many issues and encouraged others to be heard and express there opinions and wishes to their legislators. Your vote and opinion does count, and I thank you in advance for your continued support.
