Fiscal Responsibilty: Balance the School District Budget

In a time of severe budget shortfalls at the state and local level, strong budgeting skill is required to effectively set priorities, direct spending, and cut costs.
The current state budget quagmire coupled with declining enrollment has created a situation where the district has less revenue coming into the system each year. Despite this problem with reduced revenue, the administration and board have valiantly tried to maintain valuable programs while still strapped with certain immovable fixed costs.

I bring strong budgeting and fiscal direction experience and would provide expertise in finding ways to enhance revenues and cut costs...while continuing to focus on providing the best quality education to our children.
