Candidate for
Council Member; City of Solana Beach

I have lived in Solana Beach for 27 years. I'm proud to say I led the successful grassroots effort to redesign the Coastal Rail Trail to more accurately suit Solana Beach's seaside character, making certain it was totally paid for with grant funds, and completed in a single phase. I now serve on the Solana Beach View Assessment Committee.

I've been a businesswoman for the past 23 years. Since my early career as a financial consultant with a Fortune 500 company, I developed a successful culinary business that featured my talents as an author, TV chef and professional speaker. Today I am a nationally-known kitchen designer, and my work has been featured in Family Circle, Better Homes & Gardens, Architectural Digest and the Wall Street Journal.

A graduate of the University of California, San Diego (1980--BA in History with minors in Economics and Communications), I live with my husband of 19 years, Donald Davis.
