What we'll see in this Planning Group election, as we see every year, is that nearly everyone sounds the same. We all love Valley Center but in our actions, it's obvious some love it for very different reasons. As we've seen for over a decade, the stated position of many of the election winners gives way, whether intentional or not, to the lessening of goals, the lowering of expectations. Today, seven candidates have pledged themselves to actively work for Valley Center and have put their goals in writing. You can learn more at VCCAN.org, a website for the people of Valley Center. The seven candidates are experienced workers and are your best chance at preserving the best in Valley Center. None has sold real estate in Valley Center or has any apparent conflict of interest in its projected planning. They are: Carol Prime, Kris Preston, Rich Rudolf, Don Richards, Jon Vick, Roger Ingraham, and myself. Please vote for the seven people who will work hard to bring the vision of Valley Center residents to life.
