Candidate for
Board Member; Lakeside Community Planning Area

I have lived and worked in lakeside since 1967. I taught Photography to lakside teenagers at El Capitan High School for 33 years.

I received my Bachelor of Arts in Art Education at Arizona State University in 1967. I began teaching at El Cap immediately afterwards.

In 1981 I earned my Master of Arts in Radio and Television at San Diego State University.

My children attended the local schools and my wife was the library technician at Greenfield Middle School.

I retired in January, 2000. In retirement I have become more and more active in the community. I spend my time in various volunteer ativities.

I am the Vice-Chairman of the Silverwood Wildlife Santuary Committee and very active as a volunteer with the Lakeside River Park Conservancy. I also do a lot of volunteer construction and repair for the Waldorf School in San Diego.

This community has served me well and now I wish to give it my service in return.
