After my fathers death I joined the air force reserve as a fire fighter. Joyce and I were married in 1959, we then started our family.I was honorable discharged in 1962.I worked in the grocery industry and farmed part time until 1959. I finally left the industry. I farmed full time and worked when ever I could to earn extra money. I have farmed all over the valley, Tracy, Stockton, Manteca, Lodi, Brentwood, and Escalon. I started my political life in the 90's, going to meetings and finally running for State Assembly in 2000, Congress in 2002, elected to the Republican Central Committee, and then for Governor in 2003. I started to run for Congress again and stepped out of the race to run for Mayor of Tracy Ca. For the last seven years I have been doing a TV show called Citizen's Voice on PBS. I am currently off my show while running for office. My hopes are to bring unity to the city of Tracy as Mayor and unite the town again to it's full potential of where it should be. |
