I would be honored to represent the City of Arroyo Grande as City Clerk. I am passionate about the City Clerk profession and for the past 5 ½ years have served as Arroyo Grande's Deputy City Clerk. As a Certified Municipal Clerk and an active member of the International Institute of Municipal Clerks; City Clerks Association of California; National Notary Association; and the Arroyo Grande Valley Kiwanis Club, I believe my personal and professional background qualifies me to represent you as your elected City Clerk. I offer experience, education and enthusiasm to the residents of the City and will continue to serve you with prompt, effective, and friendly customer service. As your City Clerk, I am committed to: 1) Ensuring that Arroyo Grande residents receive the information and services they need; 2) Recording the actions of the City Council truthfully and preserving that which is entrusted to me; 3) Maintaining standards of quality and integrity of the Office of City Clerk; 4) Encouraging participation in local government; 5) Remaining neutral and impartial, providing equal service to all; and 6) Continually improving the administration of the Office of City Clerk.
