When I purchased my house I was told that the children from my neighborhood could attend Mira Costa High School. Manhattan Beach School District has since restricted access to Mira Costa. I will work to improve and increase North Redondo Beach school access and to improve Redondo Beach's school performance. I wish to bring a balanced approach to fiscal responsibility of City Hall -- including Small Business Development to improve and increase city services: Schools, Public Safety, Sewers and Streets. Diverse experience is good preparation for the diverse needs of our city. My experience includes cleanup of the city to teaching children marine biology to award winning business practices. I have been an advocate for small business to create and protect our region's competitive advantage. I have expanded a business in a shrinking economy. I have presided on boards and associations. I have worked with citizens, business people and politicians on issues affecting our neighborhoods. |
