Joint statement of Godfrey Pernell and Tom Heinsheimer

Our City Council and Planning Commission experience provides us with the knowledge to keep Rolling Hills unique, rural, safe and beautiful. Our goal for the next four years is to continue to serve Rolling Hills by:

Delivering special city services while holding city taxes low

Working with the RH Community Association to ensure our privacy and resist outside pressures for access through our community

Maintaining close ties with our local Sheriffs and Fire Department to best safeguard our families and property

Renegotiating our refuse collection contract to keep costs down while maintaining specialized services that are the envy of other cities

Supporting Caballeros community programs to make trails safe and beautiful, and to build the Storm Hill equestrian site on city land

Supporting the Womens' Community Club and Tennis Club recreation and social activities that bring us together

Continuing to underground unsightly utility poles and power lines to beautify the city, reduce fire danger, and increase property values

Ensuring that new homes are built in harmony with the land and preventing over-building on new sites by supporting the Planning Commission and enforcing our zoning and sub-division ordinances

Maintaining a balanced approach in protecting the precious viewscapes that are vital to the beauty and value of Rolling Hills
