Council Member; City of Manhattan Beach

I am running for City Council because we losing 18 years of council experience in March. This city needs a councilman that not only knows the infrastructure, but that has worked with city staff and civic leaders in the past, to address the challenges we residents face over the next four years.

My qualifications have already been stated, but I am the only candidate with all four sitting council member endorsements along with the majority of the city commissioners as well.

I understand our residents main concerns regarding Utility Undergrounding and thier frustation with the process. In addition, our residents are concerned with the ever present traffic problem - even more so now with the new large retail center planned for the corner of Rosecrans and Sepuleveda Boulevard. As for financial oversight, I will do everything humanly possible to have the Police/Fire facility come in on budget.

With me as your councilman, you have someone that is experienced, knowledgable and can work with the other members of council to get things done.

This election has a diverse field of 11 candidates, take a look at each one very carefully. I have shown years of committment, community involvement and accomplishments - unlike most of the other candidates.
