This amendment proposes to modernize the Charter and to reflect current practice, current trend, and in one
case a legal title (building official), by removing obsolete language and providing for the change of the official titles from
city controller to director of administrative services, from street superintendent to maintenance services administrator
and from superintendent of buildings to building official.
