Candidate for
Governing Board Member; Acton-Agua Dulce Unified School District

I am very familiar with the issues facing our Acton - Agua Dulce School District as I have attended almost every School Board meeting over the past two year. I graduated from SUNY Binghamton in 1978. From 1981 until 1994 was in charge of student records software development at UCLA. Automating the processes there, allowed the Registrar's Office staff to be reduced via attrition from over 60 staff members to under 40, while providing better services to both students and faculty members. Was a founding member and owner of Campus Solutions, Inc, which created the Peoplesoft Higher Education system. This software suite admits, grades and awards financial aid to more US college students than any other software package.

The year after Peoplesoft purchased my Campus Solutions company, I retired to my residence in Acton. This leaves me with the time needed to properly address the myriad of issues that our school district faces.

I gained much knowledge as to how businesses and schools are efficiently operated. Our school district is a non-profit business that needs the experience that I can deliver in effectively managing this precious business that is so vital to our children.
