How to take learning beyond the classroomOur kids face many pressures once out of the classroom. Peer pressure, influence from television and radio, and life with either one working parent or two who are not always home to help with class work. After school programs that provide guidance and experience are essential in today's fast paced world and lack of resources. Our kids will benefit from having somewhere to go and a place where they can continue on with their studies. I will help to bring core programs to the district through collaborations with private sector groups who have the resources to help our kids. |
