I am a life-long educator and learner who has established an expertise in teaching. I have experience teaching from the middle school through the doctoral levels. I currently teach at El Segundo High School and am also the Curriculum Specialist in Educational Technology for the El Segundo Unified School District. I have taught in the El Segundo district for 15 years. And I have advised and taught many students who go onto community colleges and other institutions of higher education. In addition, I am an adjunct professor in the education departments at Chapman, Loyola Marymount, and Azusa Pacific universities. Thus I have expertise with students and institutions that feed into and transfer from El Camino College. My vision for El Camino College is to sustain the continual improvement of the quality education that El Camino students receive. I also envision a richer collaboration between faculty and staff with the administration and governing board. Shared governance is a policy which I believe in and practice. I have been endorsed by many, many members of the educational community. |
