I bring a unique set of credentials and experiences as your candidate for the Kentfield School Board. I have over five years experience in school volunteer work at Bacich Elementary and Kent Middle School. I served as Executive Vice-President, Community Relations for the Kentfield Schools Foundation, was a member of the Parcel Tax Committee, lead a Brownie Troop for the Girl Scouts of America and am a regular volunteer for school-wide and classroom based activities.
I have a strong background in public policy and advocacy and understand the importance of consensus policy-making and good management. I was the Principal Consultant to the Senate Subcommittee on The Rights of The Disabled and the Director of Legislative Compliance for Kaiser Foundation Health Plan, Inc. My experiences as a teacher for elementary age children and as a parent have confirmed my belief in community participation and teamwork.
