1. What is your position on Measure A?

I support measure A. Because the Gold line at the Santa Anita intersection has to be grade separated. It ensures the safety of the pedestrians and traffics and also prevent the stagnation of the traffic which is going to be worse on Santa Anita Ave. in the future.

2. How can the City of Arcadia best secure an acceptable standard of public safety?

The city should have adequate funding for the police and fire departments. Both departments should have sufficient and competent staff to deal with any sefety issues in the city. There should also be some indicators to check on the standards of safety and security, so that the city can compare with.

3. What are the advantages and disadvantages of having a city election in April of the even-numbered years? Do you favor continuing the practice?

Advantages, keep the tradition. Disadvantages, it is more expensive to hold an election which is not the same day as the primary election. I believe we should change the current practice in order to save some expenses (about $60,000.00 to $80,000.00).
