I have lived in Firebaugh most of my life, I attended Firebaugh schools and graduated from Dos Palos High School. I have taken some special classes at West Hill College. My Husband, Clyde & I owned and operated Firebaugh T.V. and Video from 1961 untill 2004 when he retired. I also Worked at PureGro Co/ Western Farm Service, I retired after 25 years as administration Asistant. As City Clerk, I am responsable for attending the City Council Meetings, taking minutes, preparing agenda's, Posting same at proper time. I also swear in all Elected and appointed officials and Police Officers. As a Elected City Clerk, I do not work in the office on a regular basis, altho I am in the City Hall two to three days a week, I am on call and available whenever needed. The Ciy Clerk is responsible for all paper work filed during city elections. It is my duty to make sure all candidates forms are properly filed with the county and state. I would Like to continue my work with the City, I feel I am contributing to my community and the people who live here. I want to make this a better place to work and live. I would appciate your vote on Nov. 7th |
