We must import most of the water that we use here in West Basin. We can't control the price that Metropolitan water District of Southern California charges but we have only increased our expenses $2.00 / 326,000 gallons.We deliver pure water that meets every regulation for safety for about $1.65 per 1000 gallons. In the last 16 years that I have been on this board we have never exceeded a requirement of the State Water Control Board. Safe clean pure Water at a reasonable price is what we have delivered to the people of West Basin. |
