If re-elected to the City Council, my goals will continue to be: MAINTAINING citizen confidence in their elected officials. MONITORING the City's financial health. PROMOTING economic development, job creation and affordable housing. ENSURING continued funding support to senior and youth programs, and music programs at Fitch Middle and King (K-8)Schools PROVIDING Public Safety personnel with resources necessary to continue making Seaside the safest place to live, work, and play on the Peninsula. PROMOTING Seaside's image with Peninsula cities and regional, state, and federal agencies. DOING WHATEVER it takes to keep Seaside's Sunday Blues in the Park. SUPPORTING high school students with financial assistance to travel overseas with the Monterey County Jazz Honor Band -- a program I started in 1995 which has assisted no less than 25 Seaside (resident) students from both high schools (Seaside/Monterey). |
