As a practicing emergency physician at Marin General Hospital for 21 years and a state and national leader in emergency medicine, I have the experience, expertise, and knowledge to ensure a successful transition of the hospital to community control. I support the creation of a Blue Ribbon Commission of community leaders to strategically plan for and build the hospital of the future.

To produce the highest quality of care that you deserve, your physicians need to practice in a seismically safe, state of the art, new hospital that earns your full confidence. The Marin Healthcare District Board needs to work in close collaboration with the hospital and your physicians. The district, hospital and medical staff need a harmonious relationship to attract and retain new physicians to our community.

You need to elect candidates who will build new surgical suites, not waste precious district assets on unnecessary law suits. We need to focus on the future with a new, progressive collaborative board.
