Elk Grove Police Officers Endorse Councilman Dan Briggs

The Elk Grove Police Officers Association has endorsed the re-election of Councilman Dan Briggs to represent District 4 on the Elk Grove City Council.

"Elk Grove Police Officers are proud to support the re-election of Councilman Dan Briggs," said Association President Dan Koontz. "He is a strong and effective advocate for public safety."

"As a Mayor and Councilmember, Dan was instrumental in creating Elk Grove's own Police Department. Thanks to his leadership, there are more Law Enforcement Officers protecting our neighborhoods today than ever before in our community's history," continued Koontz.

"Police Officers also applaud Councilman Briggs for supporting the creation of our new Street Crimes Unit to combat gang activity. He is truly dedicated to providing Police Officers with the resources needed to drive gangs out of our city."

"We urge the citizens of Elk Grove to join with us in voting for Dan's re-election to the City Council," concluded Koontz.
