In 2002, Mike ran for office to be a Los Gatos Town Council member and won that election. Since that time he has served his community with passion and integrity and has accomplished a LOT of really good things! WHY IS MIKE RUNNING AGAIN? Mike Wasserman says it best, when he says, "I ran for office to do a job, and I'm not done yet!"

Mike gives the Town of Los Gatos an honest voice, based on common sense and experience.

Mike won the election in 2002, was elected Vice Mayor in 2003, and served as Mayor in 2004/05.

Mike believes in helping all neighborhoods, youth and Seniors, schools, police and fire, as well as the preservation of Los Gatos as a Town, and he has served on 20 committees during the last four years to do so.

Mike knows that Los Gatos is a special place to live. He has the proven experience, the impeccable track record and the unlimited energy necessary, to protect and enhance the Town he calls home + Los Gatos.

Mike also brought the Community Unity program to Los Gatos -- which on Sept.6,2006, was awarded the Helen Putnam Award by the League of California Cities for "Enhancing Public trust, Ethics and Community Involvement."

This program united Los Gatans under a banner of service by motivating more than 50 service clubs, faith organizations, companies and schools, to partner together to help our Senior citizens, children, parks and trails.
