As the parent of five children, Wendy has spent many years working with other children and parents in various capacities. The wife of a military chaplain, Wendy has moved around the nation with her family, and has participated in leadership roles for School Districts, PTA, as well as serving as president of a cooperative preschool.

• Experience working with multi-cultural groups,notably Native Alaskans
