More about my service on the Planning Group

I have served as a strong and proactive advocate for the Citizens of Fallbrook. I ask for your vote so that I can continue to provide this representation.

I have served on the Planning Group for six years as a proactive and strong advocate for the Citizens of Fallbrook. For the last four years I have been the 2nd vice chair. My top priorities have been to preserve our rural lifestyle and improve traffic and roads.

My service on the Planning Group has also included serving on four subcommittees and Chairing the Fallbrook Design Review Board. I have devoted thousands of hours on these committees and the Planning Group reviewing projects, studying zoning, regulations and ordinances and working with County Staff so that informed and knowledgeable decisions, that are in the best interest of our community, are made.

I have also spent many hours at the County level, on behalf of Fallbrook so that our Community has been represented in the process of updating zoning, fire protection ordinances and road standards.

While serving on the Planning Group I have testified at many Planning Commission and Board of Supervisor hearings to help protect the Fallbrook lifestyle and our community character. Our Planning Group is known for our knowledge, thoroughness and reasonable recommendations. The Planning Commission and the Board of Supervisor has respected and supported most all of our recommendations because of this.

We need strong, effective leadership on our Planning Group. People who can make tough decisions as we grapple with future development planned in our region. The Fallbrook Planning Group has established an excellent working rapport with County Staff. This is important so that the needs and wishes of our community are heard, recognized and respected. I ask for your vote so that I can continue to provide this representation.
