Born in St. Paul, MN. December 7, 1935, atended grade and high school, joined U. S. Navy, stationed in San Diego, served 3 years, E-5 Sonarman, following discharge attended S.D. City College,A.A.Degree, S. D. S. U., B.S. Bus. Admin., employed at Vista Hill Psychiatric Foundation, Vista Hill Hospital, Chula Vista, 1957-1964, Controller, Asst. Admin., Administrator.

Employed by Palomar Pomerado Health, 1964-1988, Asst. Admin. Controller, Administrator, Pomerado Hospital, Administrator Palomar Medical Center, Executive Vice Pres. Outreach and Development. Served on California Hospital Association committees, Hospital Council of San Diego, Past Chair, Emergency Medical Care Committee, San Diego County, Co-Chair San Diego Trauma Plan Formation Committee.

Employed for 5 years in Contract Interior Services, and 4 years in Church and School Administration. Retired in 1998.

Served as Chair of the Board and Chair of all committees of the Board. Currently Treasurer, Finance Committee Chair, of PPH, also Treasurer, Finance Committee Chair, Chair,Assn. of Calif. Healthcare Districts. Appointed to the PPH Board in 1996, re-elected in 1998, and 2002. Currently the senior member of the Board.
