I strongly support Ocean Desalination as a long term solution to our ever growing water needs and drought protection.
I am sure you have read or heard about the Carlsbad Seawater Desalination Project under development with a private company called Poseidon Resources. This project is a fifty million gallons a day plant that could be in production in late 2009. I am a firm believer in ocean desalination,it is drought proof and will save millions of dollars by eliminating the need for future reservoirs.Poseidon is looking for customers and our board recently authorized management to enter into preliminary discussions with Poseidon. If successful we will provide additional reliabilty for our customers during future droughts.
