Lisa Rodman's Success and Future VisionAs President of the Carlsbad Unified School District Board, I have developed the leadership skills necessary to help guide the school district for the next four years. I continue to be intimately involved in the community and the schools with a broad knowledge of the challenges, details and relationships that make my role successful. In my opinion, relationships are the driving force to change and my specialty is helping to reach consensus by bringing diverse groups together. I have proven to the community that I listen, research and respond. I have helped lead the district in streamlining processes, focusing our Governance Team and efficiently tackling monumental hurdles. Now I'm ready to complete many of the projects that we have successfully begun including passage of Proposition P, the $198 million school improvement bond, addressing secondary growth and the continual challenges we face with facility management and our growing community. |
