Board Member; Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District; Seat 5

1. Student's enrollment: I support two fully comprehensive colleges to better serve our students' needs. Implement new innovative ideas to attract students to our colleges. Provide comprehensive benefits to our faculty and staff.

2. Fiscal Responsibility: It is critical that the College Board ensure that our tax dollars are spent in the classrooms, not on bureaucracy. We must monitor the Prop R funds to make sure that needed construction work is completed.

3. Enhance the working relationships within the District: I believe that it's critical for the Governing Board, faculty and staff to collaboratively focus on what's best for our students. I intend to work in support of strategies that position the colleges as world class, cutting edge educational institutions that support the residents of East County.
